The iOS share sheet is another app handing you a link, photo, note, or file. Aside saves it into your own library, and does not publish it to someone else. The page expands the share steps and where that saved item shows up.

Bring a Pocket export file into Aside ↗

Pocket closed in 2025. A file is required. Aside brings that export file into your library, and does not sign you in to Pocket to make a new export. The page expands which file Aside reads and what from the file lands in your library.

Aside and Obsidian, side by side ↗

Obsidian is a local Markdown vault, and Aside is a local library on iPhone. Aside keeps what you save on that iPhone, and the two sit side by side. The page expands what each one does.
